You choose what to add or connect
Imports and connections are user initiated. You can upload a receipt or invoice, use a spreadsheet file, activate the Chrome helper, or connect a supported retailer without giving Purchase Ledger your retailer password.
Purchase Ledger organizes item-level information
Orders are grouped by store and date. Products, quantities, and prices stay in your private ledger.
You search, compare, and learn from your history
See what you paid before, compare compatible package prices, watch a product for a target price, and identify repeat purchases or notable price changes.
Sharing and connected applications remain under your control
Private history remains useful when community sharing is disabled. ChatGPT access requires your authorization, is read-only, and retailer/import availability varies.

Your receipts remain useful even when price sharing is turned off.

If you opt in, only limited price facts help build community trends. Names, emails, order numbers, and full receipts are not shared.

After you authorize access, ChatGPT can answer questions from your ledger, but it cannot import, change settings, delete data, or buy anything.
